So here are some questions for you - How many manufacturers are there? Do all the various Chinese retailers buy from the same sources? I'm guessing that if there are multiple manufacturers, that would explain the lack of consistency... So, what do we the customers want? To begin with, consistency. I've heard plenty of stories (as well as my own experiences) ordering two suits at the same time in the same size and having one fit well and the other horribly. If I order say, a medium size suit one time, the next time I order the same size, I expect it to fit the same. Consistency comes into play with the fabric as well. As far a non-metallic single color suits, most of us enjoy the shiny and smooth nylon/spandex blend and it can be rather disappointing to receive a (I'm guessing polyester/spandex blend) matte suit. Furthermore, frequently your site (and others) are very confusing. For example, at a cursory glace I see that you have, under the unicolor suits section, three different orange suits at two different prices? What is the difference between them? If they come from different manufacturers or are of different materials, you need to differentiate that! As far as product photos, definitely don't use whatever images you run across. They should be of the actual product that you are selling. I know there are a number of us here that would be more than happy to trade original images for use on a retail site in exchange for suits. All you have to do is ask. Let's see - customer service is another thing. I can't speak of any experiences with your site, as I've not ordered from you, but there are plenty of examples of 'Don't do this!' customer service stories about other sites on this forum. Be responsive and proactive. If there's a problem, do everything you can to fix it rather than ignoring it or saying, "Tough, it's your problem now" to the customer. So to sum up, a successful retailer to the folks that frequent this forum would offer a quality, consistent product for a reasonable price with reasonable shipping rates. They would offer new and interesting patterns and options that you might not be able to find elsewhere and they would be responsive and understanding of all customer service and/or product issues. Just my two cents...
